One and Done

Thinking about registering for Fall classes but don't know where to begin? Come visit us on July 26th for our One and Done where you can complete the entire registration process in just one day!

The one day registration event will help students who prefer to have face to face interaction throughout the enrollment process.

Because the college recognizes the demanding schedules of prospective students, it continues to grow the number of online degrees, as well as the flexible schedule options, including traditional semesters, minimesters, half sessions, internet courses and a evening hybrid option on the South Campus.

Students who visit either campus will receive admissions, financial aid, orientation, testing and academic advising during the “One and Done” event.

Current students may complete registration online or on-site, but prospective students must complete GC’s free admissions application process before they can register. Most students will need to complete TSI (Texas Success Initiative) skills assessments or present their scores or exemption as part of the registration process. All offices and services are available on these special One and Done events; however, students needing to take the assessment test should arrive in plenty of time to complete the exam. The last exam will begin at 4:00 pm, and students will need to have $30 exact cash and a photo ID.

Online registration for all of the Fall schedules is available to returning students and new students who have completed the admission process. Students who have already completed the admission process can access the class schedule by visiting the GC website at www.grayson.edu and through the MyViking student portal.

Prospective students are encouraged to visit the college’s website at www.grayson.edu and click on Apply Now (under the Admissions and Aid heading) to see what documents they should bring with them to the “One and Done” registration event. Online information is available to help students prepare for their registration day.

Payment plans are available and students may apply for financial aid. All incoming freshmen, transfer students and returning students will need to meet the state’s rules for immunization against bacterial meningitis. Visit the GC website at www.grayson.edu for more information.
